A New Story Birth Center (ANSBC) was created in an effort to provide women with a safe, natural option for childbirth. We have heard countless stories of women that have been wounded in the process of giving birth. While we cannot guarantee anyone an event-free labor and birth, we are passionate about helping you achieve the birth you desire. The mission behind ANSBC is to provide individualized care to each client so their birth story will be a new story, whether that means you are having your first child or you need healing from a traumatic birth, be assured that our team will be there for you to help you achieve that birth you desire, it’s your story, a new story.
Be prepared to take back your health care! Through shared decision making, we will help you navigate choices in your care. We encourage you to research your options and determine which direction you choose your health care to proceed. You are in charge and we are here to support you!
All of the midwives are independent contractors and own their own businesses. The midwives listed on the website have privileges at the birth center. Each midwife practices differently and has special areas of interest. Therefore, services offered by each midwife may vary.
Want to be pampered? In Milaca, we have created a spa-like environment that includes 2 spacious birthing rooms equipped with amazing birthing tubs that utilize sound therapy for discomfort, fireplaces, individual sound systems for your personal labor mix, and a gorgeous, private 112-acre parcel of land you can stroll while in labor.
Coming to see us in Brainerd? The facility has been completely updated and features 3 birthing rooms with 3 different tub options and the facility sits on 4 city lots giving you ample room to roam outdoors if desired.
We look forward to working with you and your family as your story unfolds.
